Storm Spotter

        Being registered with Shelby County A.R.E.S. doesn’t qualify one as a trained Storm Spotter.  If you are interested in becoming a trained storm spotter for the NWS please review the guidelines on the Louisville NWS web page for more information.

​        Louisville NWS has designated the KY4KY repeater in Brooks, KY as the KY severe weather reporting.  During elevated risk of severe weather, please only use this repeater for emergency traffic as it is monitored by NWS.
