WHAT IS A NET?
A RADIO TRAFFIC NET IS SIMPLY A GATHERING OF HAM RADIO OPERATORS ON THE AIR.
IN CASES OF EMERGENCIES, EMERGENCY NETS ARE UTILIZED TO CHECK THE WELFARE OF AND PROVIDE REPORTS OF CITIZENS IN DISTRESS. STUBBLEFIELD REPEATER CLUB HOLDS A WEEKLY EMERGENCY NET TO PROMOTE THIS EMERGENCY SERVICE AND TO TRAIN NEW OPERATORS TO CALL A NET.
NETS ARE COORDINATED AT OUR MONTHLY CLUB MEETINGS. ALL LICENSED HAM OPERATORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR WEEKLY NET. YOU CAN REVIEW OUR NET PREAMBLE.
