ARES Mission Statement

ARES Strives to be an effective partner in emergency/disaster response, providing the citizenry and
public service/safety partners with communications expertise, sitiuational awareness, and capabilities
of professional communicators.

The Stubblefield Repeater Club has a specialized group of radio operators specifically trained in emergency communications. This group is known as Amateur Radio Emergency Services, or ARES. In addition to obtaining their amateur radio license, each radio operator has participated in FEMA training required by the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) and the Kentucky ARRL Section.

If you would like to be on a successful path to becoming an ARES member of the club, download the ARES Standardized Training Plan
