Jimmy J. Rankin, 74, of Waddy died Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 in Shelbyville.
He was a member of the Waddy Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Shelby County & Kentucky Cattleman’s Association; past president and former member of the Waddy Ruritan Club and former volunteer fire fighter. He was an avid ham radio enthusiast and was a member of the Stubblefield Repeater Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Shannon and Mary Kathryn Rankin. He is survived by his sisters, Mary Shannon Bradshaw (John), Waddy; Sara Jane Rankin, Waddy; niece, Shannon Darst (Greg), Waddy; great niece, Laura Darst and great nephew, Matthew Darst.
